There were no major housing market changes in Lane County for January 2026. The inventory of homes for sale increased slightly compared to December of last year, but closed sales and pending sales were down slightly compared to January 2025.
With a few more homes on the market and improved mortgage interest rates, let’s hope February sees a more robust market improvement. A lack of inventory in the first-time buyer price ranges remains, and a glut of inventory in the over $1 million price range also continues.
